Michaela Huntington a show jumper, trainer and producer and RS-tor advocate shares her latest endeavours at the Blue Chip Championships!

Michaela says...

The show went very well for me and I am proud to say I actually covered all my costs! Zula, my older mare that I have produced from a four year old won the first class of the show which had a huge 122 entries. I was so pleased with Zula as she was also the Winner of the 1.15 Final but we sadly had fence down in the Star Final.

Zena, my youngster, known competitively as Alegro Z had qualified for the Discovery, Newcomer and Foxhunter Finals and was incredible for a six year old at her first Championship Show.

We had a fence in the jump off of the Discovery, had the very last fence down in the jump off of the Newcomers. We had fastest time so would have won if it had stayed up which was gutting but that is showjumping business!

In the Foxhunter I aimed for a double clear rather than a win as it was 1.35 in the jump off and we did a very good clear with a couple of turns, not mad, but came a very respectable 5th so I was absolutely delighted with her.

All in all a fabulous show and they are now both chilling out in the field at home.

Michaela is a big fan of the RS-tor and thinks the Rider Safety Aid is ideal for keeping riders safe in the saddle!
