Read our guide on how to fit your RS-tor and achieve the perfect length for your riding.

Follow the simple steps below to fit your RS-tor perfectly, allowing you move freely in the saddle whilst staying safe and secure.

1.) Remove stirrup leather.

2.) Fit RS-tor anchor line over stirrup bar.

3.) Replace stirrup leather over stirrup bar - repeat on other side.

4.) To ascertain correct length: When seated in saddle, and holding the RS-tor handle, hold your arm straight (not bent) alongside the horse’s neck.

5.) If the strap is not allowing you to do this, loosen the stirrup straps.

If the strap is slack, reduce both of the stirrup strap lengths equally.

NOTE: The strap should be taught during the last straightening of your arm - this prevents you from going beyond you natural riding position.

TEST: Once the lengths have been set to your reach, test the RS-tor by leaning forward (as if the horse has bucked) and push your weight onto the RS-tor handle, keeping your arm straight - you should barely move from your saddle and the recoil of the RS-tor strap will assist you to re-seat.
